Microsoft Azure Specialist
As part of our Cloud & Infrastructure team, we are looking for a skilled Microsoft Azure Specialist to lead the implementation, management, and optimization of our Azure-based cloud infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions that support our global business needs. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute robust cloud strategies, automate infrastructure processes, and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
Responsibilities
• Implement, Operate and manage, Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud solutions.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability and security.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure-related issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Certifications such as Azure Certified Administrator or Azure Solution Architect are preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a senior role working with Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience working as an Infrastructure Consultant is desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and modern workspace solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
• Hands-on experience with PowerApps.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Azure services and architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation
• Experience with Infrastructure network configurations, security, and compliance in Azure.
Specific Tasks:
- Extract and consolidate data from various systems and file types (CSV, ERP, Excel, CRM, SharePoint etc.).
- Identify, clean and transform raw, unstructured, or inconsistent data into usable formats.
- Build and maintain Excel-based tools using advanced formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query
- Create and update Power BI dashboards and reports (or demonstrate willingness to learn).
- Validate and cross-check data to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Document data processes, logic flows, and tool usage to support knowledge transfer.
- Engage with colleagues to clarify requirements, fill in missing data, or address anomalies.
- Support ad hoc data analysis requests and contribute to ongoing E4 initiatives.
