
Accelerate Digital Transformation in Manufacturing
Join Monitizer as our new Pre‑Sales Engineer and help foundries mainly across Europe adopt Monitizer’s IIoT and AI solutions. You’ll combine strong technical insight with customer-facing skills to demonstrate how digital technologies improve productivity, quality, and uptime. Working closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success, you’ll define the right solution for each customer, actively support deal closure, and help secure long‑term customer retention.
What You Will Do
Power the Sales Process
- Support sales teams with technical insight from the first contact to closing.
- Clarify customer needs by mapping data sources and understanding operational challenges.
- Follow‑up on engagements, proposals, and open topics to keep deals moving.
- Deliver value-driven demos that show clear customer benefits.
- Respond quickly to inbound requests and coordinate with Sales, Product Management, and other teams.
Engineer the Best Solutions
- Provide accurate technical input for proposals and support solution design throughout the sales cycle.
- Validate technical feasibility and solution accuracy from scoping to handover.
- Identify up sell opportunities and support closing business with existing customers.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and stay updated on new features and use cases.
Boost Customer Value & Adaption
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and support retention.
- Train sales teams to strengthen digital adoption and support Monitizer growth.
- Keep CRM and Click-up records accurate with updates on meetings, opportunities, and follow-ups.

You combine technical depth with strong customer‑facing skills. You’re proactive, hands‑on, and ready to do what it takes to help win deals, from following up on open topics to pushing solutions forward. You enjoy understanding how foundries operate, solving real challenges with data, and explaining complex technology in a clear, compelling way. Curious and structured, you thrive in a role that blends engineering with communication and commercial impact.
Professional experience and background
- 2+ years in pre‑sales, technical sales support, or application engineering for SaaS, IIoT, cloud, or automation products.
- Strong understanding of IIoT architecture, industrial protocols, edge devices, and cloud analytics.
- Experience with manufacturing or industrial processes (foundry experience is a plus).
- Ability to translate customer needs into clear, high-value technical solutions.
- Commercial mindset: comfortable supporting proposals, scoping, following up, and contributing to deal closure.
- Proactive and self-driven – you take ownership of moving opportunities forward.
- Fluency in English; German preferred.
- Willing to travel and engage with diverse cultures.
