
Are you ready to lead global sourcing & category management at Norican?
In support of the strategic agenda of Norican we need to strengthen, accelerate and sustain the sourcing and category management effort and we are therefore looking for a new candidate for the open Category Lead position covering indirect spend.
Your tasks:
• Mapping and analyzing data and spend patterns, identifying cost drivers and opportunities for Norican
• Define the outsourcing target and best practice for Norican Group
• Monitoring of expenditures, compliance, supply market dynamics and supplier performance in specific categories
• Implementation and further development of the category strategy globally.
• Management of the category in tight collaboration with key business stakeholders, driving quality, cost and lead time performance
• Implementation of best practice for the category across hubs
• Define Norican compliance requirements & ensure partners meet or exceed these requirements.
• Work in close collaboration with the local teams to actively manage the performance of Norican’s network of partners via best practices such as regular business reviews and performance scorecards to drive continuous improvement across all relevant performance metrics.
• Lead/support selection of partners in accordance with long term strategy and in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Your profile:
• Education in business, logistics or finance combined with practical experience
• Relevant experience with indirect spend, logistics and preferably manufacturing industry
• Work experience in procurement and/or category management
• Analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and assertiveness
• English language communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven organizational abilities and self-reliance
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• International exposure
• Global perspective
• Cross cultural understanding and strong stakeholder management skills
