A major milestone in Norican India’s growth journey has become a reality.
Building on India’s strong growth over the past eight years and the opportunities ahead, Norican has expanded its manufacturing footprint with a new greenfield facility at Tumkur, located adjacent to our existing plant.
We are proud to share that this state‑of‑the‑art facility is now ready and will commence commercial production from June 1, 2026.
More than an increase in capacity, the new facility strengthens Norican’s manufacturing capabilities in India. It enhances responsiveness to customers, supports global demand, and strengthens our manufacturing competitiveness.
The expansion reflects our continued confidence in India as a key growth market and confirms Tumkur’s role as a strategic manufacturing location within Norican’s global production network.
Completed in a record time of just 12 months, the project stands as a testament to the strong collaboration, commitment, and execution excellence of our teams in India who worked across functions to deliver this milestone.
In its initial phase, the facility will produce DISA machines, Automatic Mould Handling (AMH) systems, and SIMPSON products, with the flexibility to support future growth and additional product opportunities.
