We’ve installed a new car charging point at our Spain site in partnership with Moves, supporting our sustainability goals and making it easier for employees and visitors to charge electric vehicles. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to green mobility and provides a convenient, future-ready solution for our team and guests.

USA
The LaGrange facility has upgraded all office, warehouse, and production area lighting to LED technology, cutting energy use by 15.4% from 2021 to 2022. Overall savings are projected to reach 27.7% by 2025. The switch not only lowers costs but also eliminates hazardous lighting materials, supporting a safer and more sustainable workplace.

UK
The €1,000 cash award from the prestigious win at the 75th World Foundry Congress was donated to The Forest of Marston Vale in the UK, where Norican team members helped plant 100 trees. The team was thrilled to contribute to the local ecosystem and see the positive impact of their actions today and into the future.

Denmark
Over the past 13 months, the DISA Taastrup office has reduced plastic folder purchases by 71%, saving over 3,500 folders. This significant reduction has led to fewer resources being used and less waste generated. As a result, the office has adopted a more sustainable approach to their daily operations, aligning with their commitment to environmental responsibility.

India
The Tumkur Plant now has four recharge pits as part of its rainwater harvesting initiative. This effort enhances the plant's capacity to collect and utilize rainwater, contributing to sustainable water management. The additional pits are a testament to the plant's commitment to environmental sustainability.

Each year, Norican UK donates a number of laptops to nearby schools as part of our commitment to the community. Pictured are three laptops recently donated to Disley Primary School, helping to support digital learning in the classroom.
